Shae Rusing is the Survey Manager for the Southwest Institute for Emotional Intelligence (SWIEI). She manages all surveys including the SWIEI EI-360 Listening Tour Feedback Assessment, High-Performing Team Assessment, Team Effectiveness Assessment, The 6 Types of Working Genius Assessment, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team Assessment, and more. Atop of her keen eye for detail, she enjoys inventing new ways to analyze and report SWIEI survey data.
Shae served as a cheerleader and representative for the Arizona Cardinals Football Club from 2017 to2021. She was selected by her teammates to become Co-Captain in 2019 and Captain in 2020—her focus was leadership and team motivation. As much as she loves to perform, her heart is in the community where she volunteers and serves at community events across the valley, including the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Luke Air Force Base, American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and The Be Kind People Project to name a few.
Shae is currently a student at Arizona State University and finishing her bachelor’s degree in Human and Family Development.
She has a passion for helping others, traveling to new places, and expressing herself through her art. Her favorite EI competency is Empathy, she firmly believes that if we all “walked a mile in each other’s shoes” a little more often, the world would be a much better place. She is still working on the EI competency of Self-esteem.
